Rehabilitation and Injury Management
What is Rehabilitation and Injury Management?
Rehabilitation and injury management is for anyone experiencing a short or long term health condition affecting the bones, joints and muscles.
What will happen during a treatment session?
The first session will be spent assessing your condition, general health and wellbeing. Following this there will be a treatment and/or advice aimed at supporting recovery of the target issues identified.
Your therapist will assess your physical ability to carry out activities of daily life and rehabilitation exercises. You will then be given a small selection of exercises to begin rehabilitation of your condition.
If the therapist identifies a condition that would benefit from other treatments, with your permission, you will be given a referral letter to the appropriate healthcare professional.
